Switching between schools

Use School Hub to access the Switch school option when you need to move between your available schools.

This guide applies to both manually managed and MIS-managed schools unless a step says otherwise.

Follow the steps

Open School Hub

From BoomReader, open School Hub using the School Hub option in the navigation.

School Hub is the central hub for accessing BoomReader and managing school-level settings.

Step 2 of 3

Select Switch school

In School Hub, select Switch school.

The Switch school option is listed in the School Hub navigation.

Step 3 of 3

Complete the school change

Use the options shown after selecting Switch school to move to the required school. If the available choices or next screen are not clear, ask your school administrator for help.

Only switch to a school you are authorised to access.

If something does not look right

Troubleshooting

Switch school is not visible

Make sure you are in School Hub rather than Reader. If the option is still unavailable, ask your school administrator to check your access.

The required school is not available

Ask your school administrator to confirm that your staff account has access to that school.

You are unsure which school is active

Return to School Hub and check the school information shown there. Do not use or share school codes in support requests or guides.
